POOR BOY LONG WAYS FROM HOME
Illinois John Fever covers John Fahey's version. He originally gave credit to Barbecue Bob in 1959, but then claimed it as his own on following recordings. His version also appears to be derived from "The Siege Sevastopol", "Sebastopol", "Vastapol", or "Vestapol", depending on which lineage of the song's history you subscribe to and which artists you believe to be reliable historians. See- "How the Crimean War influenced Mississippi Delta blues"

Recorded at Flat Black by Luke Tweedy, November, 2021. Mixed in the IJF bunker.
